OMG why did Jean Grae's name come up in at least 3 conversations in the club last night.
1. One of my boys called me a Jean Grae groupie LMAO. See what had happened was...UIC was using one of her quotes, so I...emailed her on the myspace joint, and she....REPLIED back!
2. The dj in the club is SUPA COOL/DOPE. somehow i always make my way to the booth. eh?!?! he was trynna talk to me like i wasn't a backpacker...yeah rite! i know h.e.r.story (I used to love) long story short i was like ima boo u if u don't play no jeannie.
3. now this story is a lil hazy cause the 3 shots of the trony was kickin in but one of my white allies was telling me how he was really feeling dead prez and me to recommend some other dope artists....ding ding ding...jean greezy for 3
